I want to say thank you to Chloe for a wonderful Saturday evening. We really enjoyed the food , service and atmosphere. Being able to order drinks and put it on our table before our table was ready was perfect and it got better from then. For my starter  CRISPY SALT & PEPPER FRIED SQUID Garlic aioli and  grilled lemon , it was light and the flavours complimented each other and it was amazing. For my main I had LAMB RUMP Fresh mint, new potatoes, red wine jus, peas, tenderstem broccoli and it was beautifully cooked . I would have liked the Lamb a bit more pink but I still loved it. It was an amazing dish. Desert I had MANGO & PASSION FRUIT ETON MESS which tasted heavenly , I loved every mouthful. It is a beautiful establishment. I would recommend everyone to eat  , drink and enjoy.

Wonderful pub with a lovely atmosphere. However let down by the burger. The pancetta in the burger really made it taste strong salty flavour. Not being used to eating pork, this was odd. I’d have given it a five star if the burger was as good as I expected.nOh and the fries were super under cooked. Not a single part was crispy.

Me and my husband just celebrated my birthday at The Bull as a last minute booking not being familiar with the area - all he did was put it on the notes of the online booking. I could not have been made to feel more spoilt as if we’d planned the whole thing in advance! Mika was fabulous; so friendly, attentive and nothing was a bother. My husband is unfortunately lactose intolerant, which more often than not can be a hindrance to a lot of restaurants - not The Bull or Mika! Thank you! There was even a cooking error with the chicken and it was immediately sorted and removed from the bill! The food was amazing - salt and pepper squid and chicken wings to start, chicken and chorizo burger for me, waygu burger for my husband and the non-dairy !! chocolate orange tart and chocolate brownie… all divine! Amazing atmosphere, wonderful food and fabulous staff - what more could you want from an evening! Well done and thank you The Bull… and Mika! xx

Second visit and another really pleasant experience .nBoth times served by Vinnie who is the right side of attentive without being intrusive.nLovely atmosphere , a great place to be in on a miserable Wednesday evening. …or any evening really.nThank you, we’ll be back.

This is my first time visiting the UK, and I’ve really enjoyed the beautiful weather in June. During the final week of my trip, I chose to stay in Henley-on-Thames and had a lovely meal at The Bull.nVinnie, was incredibly kind and professional. At the end of the meal, he asked if I was here for the Regatta—but at the time, I didn’t know what that word meant. I truly appreciated his thoughtfulness and he shared that with me.nnIt was a wonderful experience
