Terrible landlord. We went there last weekend and the bloke charged me twice for my beers. He said the card got declined and charged me again, only after did i realise i never got a void receipt and having checked my bank account her charged me twice.

Historic pub which has recently been refurbished. Low ceilings but nice overall drinking hole.

Doesn't seem to be open much, opening times are a bit of a mystery.
Good little pub though, if its ever open, with good beer, watch your head on the low ceilings though!

Opening times very vague...once inside all the character has been erased by a very poor attempt to make the pub into a trendy wine bar by painting the walls and beams a horrible grey ..totally ruined all the charm that this pub could have offered ...its the oldest building henley over 600 years old people expect it to be quirky and cosy ..not a poor attempt at being trendy ...very sad

A comfy and quirky place with lots of character. Pam and the team are brilliant, so friendly and welcoming. I love the food they serve Sundays and Mondays.
