Story

The Lighterman is a pub, dining room and bar on Granary Square, King’s Cross.
Our name is inspired by the industrial past of King’s Cross, and the Victorian Lightermen who worked on flat-bottomed barges, known as “Lighters”, on the canals and rivers of London. With three floors offering stunning views across Granary Square
and the Regent’s Canal, The Lighterman is a place to relax and enjoy all day dining and drinking.

Very nice ‘Modern British’ - basically good quality food - well prepared, good corona service. Heaters won’t heat you but the Languedoc 2015 red will for sure. Recommend for time with friends.

This place makes you feel like one of many rather than special. The food was good though.

Great place to have some drinks and eat a very good food. The staff is quite kind and quick. The ambiance is beautiful and comfortable. Try some of the tables in the upper deck with a great view over the canal or you can enjoy some of the spots in the ground floor next to the canal. The prices are accordingly and worth the experience.

Super cool pub and bar with lots of various seating options. Although very busy they were able to fit us in and we enjoyed a couple drinks off the menu. Cocktails were good and plenty of beer choices. Would return to try the burgers, they looked amazing!

Very nice pub on the river, with loads of great outside seating. We sat outside and there were lots of heaters and loads of cover too! The food portions were a tiiiny bit small, but the food itself was very yummy 

Went there last year before Covid pandemic hit!. Nice place, great for cheeky pints after work, although it can get very loud. Also, not sure about this 12.5% service..  should let clients the choice
