Went here for Podcast Festival 2024 and had a great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff,, really organised event, good bar and food on offer and lovely bar tenders. Look forward to seeing what else kings place puts on as this was my first time going. Super easy to find too and accessible to those using public transport.
Nice place. We went for a concert and the sound was really crisp. The room was intimate and the staff were friendly. The only bad thing was the lack of signal and the expensive prices of the drinks.
A really good evening watching the fabulous Julie Fowlis and her band and their support band - Westward The Light. Such beautiful music from both and I could happily listen to Julie Fowlis sing forever, whether in Gaelic or English. She's so talented. Especially when she played the bagpipes in the last song. I was in the Balcony, row A9 and I had a fabulous view. It's a small venue, so you're never far from the stage. Plenty of ladies toilets too and they were clean.
My fifth corporate event at this venue - great choice for a hundred or so people. Easy to access, sufficient space for social networking before and after the event. Difficult to think about an alternative - beats a hotel or a guild in the City, more capacity and different feel
This place is an amazing venue. I was here for the Outlanders, part of Scotland unwrapped. Amazing
What a lovely place just couple of mins walk from Kings Cross station. So calm n quiet place away from hustle & bustle of crowds city atmosphere. Been there couple of times n every time I enjoyed much. The acoustics of this place are phenomenal. One of best small venues in London for intimate sensitive musical performances. The clarity and presence of the instruments sounds are the best.
I like Kings place, it's an office, yes, but also work space, conference space and music venue. I have enjoyed all of these things, over a few visits. It's a very clean space, maybe a model for what other buildings could become, rather than being just a single function perhaps...
The music was surreal, delicate, exquisitely beautiful. A tragic story was interwoven with Art and the result was heartbreaking. All that sorrow became almost unbearable at the end.. "You rise, I fall"... I was deeply moved by "The Sacred Veil", it was an amazing experience.
Gorgeous democratic space. Its hall is free of charge and very well coming. Tables and chairs available. Sofas, power switches, toilets...Lovely views of regents canal. I love it !
I really like the space! I just come here a few months a year for rehearsals and perform for 2-3 days of concert each summer : Very modern and clean , the staff is always very kind and welcoming !
