I’ve had fish and chips here countless times and I think it might be better than many fish and chips shop. Not once has the fish been oily. Perfectly deep fried and crispy on the outside and perfectly tender and moist on the inside. I’ve also had the Cluckin hot stack numerous times and it’s worth the money you pay for. The staff are always friendly and the service is good too.
Been my local pub for a long time and changes over the years have improved the pub atmosphere, and the pub team spirit is great! Service is great even though sometimes short of staff. Good regularly visit experiences all the time and food quality has improved vastly. Great team spirit when busy and short of staff. Deals/ offers in the App are great but need longer expiry dates. Great space around the pub. Drinks are getting expensive. Need to fix the projector to show the big screen live football matches. App QR code does not load into app or does not work on the EPOS most times! Vegetarian options: Need a wider range of main meal choice like Veg curry, veg bake, veg pasties with salad.

The place was really clean, well managed and the staff was fairly polite. I've ordered 4 dishes, the waiting time wasn't too long, the store was pretty, big, and was really well kept. The food was warm, and It was really tasty. I ordered vegetarian sausages with mash potatoes, while my other mates ordered fish and chips with peas, everything came out at the same time, and the food was lovely! They also had vegan and vegetarian choices! The prices were pretty low and therefore made it quite affordable to have a family dinner. I would highly recommend this place.
Food was good & hot. Husband had jumbo cod but they only had 1 piece of fish so they substituted with scampi. My steak was cooked perfectly. Management now seems much better! Impressed with the very friendly staff.
Such a fab family pub with a great team, so friendly, always make us feel welcome, always a good atmosphere and the staff are always smiling.Lewis and Beth go above and beyond. We eat here at least 3 times a week and can't fault the food since Mark has been the chef. Keep up the great work Claire and her wonderful team . Had belly of pork strips as a main, they were lovely and would recommend. Had 3 course meal for about £20 well worth it. There are cheaper options. Service was good, and staff polite and helpful.
A lovely experience from start to finish! Was greeted by Claire when I arrived and she was warm and welcoming, was so nice for the manager to take the time out for a chat! Was served by Tracey who is a pleasure, she took my order quickly and was professional and friendly, drinks brought over and just top notch service all round. Food was good, hot fresh and fast to the table. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will be returning again soon x Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and kid grabber machines. Parking: Decent sized car park and disabled spaces available. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
Surprisingly underrated pub. Had fish and chips, it was really great. Has a nice outside area, with amazingly clean toilets, and the prices are good for the value. Enjoyed more than Nando's. Really happy with the service.Food: 4/5
Your pin was short staffed and I could see Lewis doing an amazing job , he was on his toes all the time running around and ensuring the guests are sever and attended to in a timely manner to my surprise I saw him cleaning the toilet as well and one of your toilets was blocked with water gushing out and he was there fixing it and taking the dirty to toilet water all by himself. This guy is an asset to you as despite all this he was smiling and joking with the customers making them feel comfortable, I wonder how he does that , I was getting frustrated looking at him , felt sorry for the boy but hats off to him for his dedication and amazing work performance. It’s rare to find such staff who takes things by their stride amazingly & smilingly. Kid-friendliness: It is a kid friendly joint
