Without a doubt one of my better airport meal experiences. Not sure why it gets such bad reviews... There wasn't a massive queue like the other restaurants so decided to give it a go. We ordered from the table using our phones. Very easy process and no issues with the setup. It can also be order at the bar if you would prefer. Food arrived really quickly and honestly everything was good. I had no problems with anything. Is it fine dining food? No. It is pretty good pub food in an airport - absolutely. I ordered a chicken burger and sweet potato fries and was happy with everything. There are also charge points at every table which is just amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.
Don’t really understand the low rating of this place on Google but I was pleasantly impressed. It was a Saturday morning flight so I expected it to be busy. But they had plenty of staff on hand or just about the right amount so there was not that long of a wait to be seated or receive our food and drinks. Food was good too.
Basically the place is ok, I couldn't use the table ordering due to some site issues.. Luckily a nice waitress came in replacing the website. Food ok, price is fair for an airport. In the end a nice service makes the difference.
Good choice for food and drinks while waiting for your flight. The interior is quite nice and a bit vintage. Orders taken only at the bar, and it can get busy on the waiting line. Tables, menus and ketchup bottle weren't very clean though. Vegetarian options: Some choice for vegetarians, mainly chips, nachos and French fries.
I'm not sure it was food. I'm not sure whether the stuff on the plate, or the menu itself, was supposed to be the better tasting food. I don't know why it seemed to be a massive chore to be asked for cutlery three times. I don't know why it had to be banged down pointedly on the table. I don't know why it was mostly beans when I asked for no beans. I don't know why it cost more than a decent two course Prix Fixe in a good restaurant. Oh yes. It's at an airport so they don't need to give any tosses. Avoid. I understand the toilet paper in the loo opposite may be more appealing.
Food was fair, and to their credit came out fast. From order to delivery for a "number one" breakfast and scrambled eggs on toast was 8 minutes. The eggs were the blandest we have ever tasted. Apart from that everything was very poor. We stood at the wait to be seated for 5 minutes with a queue forming behind and staff looking at us from both sides of the bar. We then assumed the wait here to be seated sign was for lunch and dinner, as the restaurant was half empty. We got halfway to a table before we were accosted by one of the staff that had been looking at us from the bar and told us to go back and wait to be seated. The drinks, two coffees and two orange juices took 29 minutes to come out. The food was long gone by that point. This wasn't an isolated incident that affected just us, as we heard at least 7 other tables complaining and questioning their whereabouts, and 1 having to cancel them, even though it was already paid, as they had to go and board. The two female staff that were waiting had poor customer service and just snapped back we are busy and short staff, however the gentleman was courteous and actually apologised unlike the others. Once we finally received the coffees we went to the sugar bowl, only to find used gum pressed into it. Not a good visit from start to finish and would not recommend. Edit: after posting my partner reminded me we also were not provided with cutlery, and it took three requests, spanning about 5 minutes, to get any, and that was only achieved when my partner walked over to a different waitress at the other side of the restaurant to ask.
To be fair, the food is quite good! Love the beer sausages and the avocado jam. It’s got good atmosphere that makes you forget that you are at an airport saying goodbye to your vacation!
Always had good experiences here. Got my eggs Benedict in 5 minutes from ordering, perfectly poached, soft and runny and NOT TASTING of vinegar. Ordered through phone and staff was super helpful too in getting a physical receipt as it didn't come to my email inbox.
Nice place, lots of sitting space, the food is good, the portion size is ok but when we asked for more toast and butter they gave us without questions or extra charge.
Food came out quickly. Good value for airport prices. No issues with the food. Service was friendly!
