Lovely meal until my husband found a hair in his fish, broke it off & still more visible in the fish. We totally understand that these things happen from time to time but to be then questioned not once but twice as if it was our fault waiter asked if it was a bone & then a minute later said no one in the kitchen has dark hair This really should of been dealt with better. Won’t be back. Hardly got an apology for it, shifted blame & still charged full price for it.

Nice venue on the Ayrshire Coast. The restaurant has beautiful views across to Arran. Lovely friendly atmosphere, would highly recommend
Didn't stay at hotel but had a private function on Sat 17th September for a family birthday. Staff were great. Food was amazing, very tasty and big portions. Everyone at the 80th dinner agreed. We had a fab night. Thank you

All staff were attentive and nothing was any bother for them to assist. Breakfast was great full Scottish for two with eggs as you requested. Bedrooms a bit tired looking by clean with our room having a fantastic sea view. Rooms: 3/5
Fantastic food. Great value. Excellent location. Would be good if the bushes were a little bit lower so you could see the view better. Staff are very friendly. One of my favourite restaurants. Service: 5/5
I was photographing an event here all the staff were extremely helpful and organised. Nice function sweet that would be ideal for smaller weddings. With excellent space across the venue to take bridal photos.Service: 5/5
Went for a walk down Saltcoats beach when my sister and her partner were over, terrible weather and we had Lunar dog with us. Popped into the Lauriston bar, loved it! Staff were so lovely and friendly and they loved Lunar. Drinks good price, nice atmosphere. Loved it!
What a fantastic hotel, just the ideal place to go if you want great food, fantastic service along with really nice surroundings with a Scottish theme. Rooms were spotless and served the purpose well. I most certainly enjoyed my stay there and the personal touch just added to my overall love for the place. I cannot wait to go back there.... FANTASTIC in my book
