My wife and I discovered this little gem a couple of weeks ago, which offers meals at great value and the portions are large, we paid £17 each for a three course meal.nThe staff are friendly and helpful, I went with my wife and daughter yesterday afternoon, even though it was so busy, the staff found us a table, I would highly recommend the Laurieston above anywhere else. Great service and great value with excellent quality food.
Let me first explain I had booked a twin room and was upgraded on arrival to a double room which was very kind. Room was clean and I seen the female staff cleaning the next morning so I know cleanliness is a high standard. Breakfast was very good and breakfast staff were very nice. Now a couple not so good points, we had room one. I’m not sure if the staff are aware that the wifi strength is almost non existent and whilst they offer a nice smart tv it’s basically unwatchable due to signal strength.nThe room is very dated, it was a very soft matress which I’m not used to but was comfortable and bedding was clean as was the room. The bathroom, tampons and cotton buds were a nice touch but the bathroom decor was finished to a terrible standard.nNice Scottish tea cakes and caramel logs provided for tea but spoons were dirty.nOverall comfortable but don’t think I’d stay again tho would eat here
Great hotel beautiful location on the beach front. The staff are friendly and happy to help room was spotless and really comfortable. Food was amazing overall best holiday stay over iv had and would highly recommend. See you again guys will definitely be back. *****
hotel was amazing, food was okay but the best part was the waitress. The blonde waitress that served me my precious food was extremely kind and even insisted to help me whenever i need anything. She was super polite too even bowed when serving my food. I think she deserves a raise
Once again Lunch with Friends. Food always enjoyable and really reasonably priced. Will return soon. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.
