If I could I’d leave zero stars. Staff were friendly and helpful however the food was inedible! 2 orders of fish and both people said it tasted funny. The chicken was rubbery and of very poor quality. Even though one plate was untouched nobody questioned as to why this was the case. We reported the funny tasting fish but nothing was done about it. We left and had to buy food as we were all still hungry . Would never eat here again.

Long Wait, Rotten Meals All around  A week on Saturday I went with my mother and my brother to the Hip Flask for a meal as it was usually good, we had to wait about five minutes for our drinks also to order our meals also the two women sitting next to us were picking at their food they got up and left,  it seemed a long wait to get the meals when they arrived my mother took a couple of bites and said the meat didn't taste quite right then my brother's pastry was burnt at the top he said it tasted salty, I got mine which I ordered was the Thai Prawn as a main meal it smelt a bit strong on arriving in front of me,  I opened one up to see but the smell was real strong the prawn was off so I got the waitress told her that the prawns were of so she took away the plate and asked me for something else I said no thanks.  The meal was taken off the bill but for the my mothers and my brother's meal and the drinks were nearly £30.00.  I felt totally let down won't be back.

Booked a table here to celebrate a familyembers birthday. Service was great, food was lovely & staff were friendly. Would definitely visit again!

Staff friendly, quick service and food was excellent, portion size and price. Hadnt been for years, but will definetely be returning

Stopped by for a drink the other night nice friendly wee place. Staff even made me a cocktail. Will need to get in to try the food

Christmas Dinner was superb also staff where great would highly recommend here for nights out
