My experience on visiting restaurant, hmm well I suppose it was OK, meal well I have had better but seeing as I was on holiday and visiting Saltcoats for the first time it was a case of let's see what this place is like. Paying for the meal.... Tried to pay using my card through contact less and it didn't work so then used my card again using pin number and it went through no problem. The man gave me a receipt to say the first payment didn't go through. Anyway have checked my bank account only to find I've been charged TWICE!!! I have contacted the restaurant a number of times to have this money paid back to myself only for him to say I need proof!! Quite rightly so I could be fibbing except I'm not. I have asked for an email address a number of times so I can prove it but he refused to give it to me. What do I think about this restaurant... Nothing but THIEVES. I am taking the matter further which I have told them. When I do return to visit my caravan in Saltcoats this is one place I would never go again
Ordered from here on sat night. Well worth the wait. Food was fantastic, delivery driver was lovely to my son who had to answer the door... I'm impressed I ordered milk shakes and desserts and the shakes came cold the ice cream was still frozen. Will be back well worth the money... excellent service all round. I added a wee comment the kids are fussy nothing was too much trouble.... thank you.
Buffet tonight was empty. Only rice and a couple of currys when asked if more was coming keep being ask what was missing and said most of the buffet. Pizza came out and base was spongy. Starters were good but main went down hill after that. Asked if we wanted ice cream after and when asked what the flavours were they didnt know, theres like 20 tubs out on display at the entrance and they only knew vanilla and chocolate. As we were leaving they brought out the rest of the buffet we had been in for an hour and the buffet sat empty when we mentioned that we weren't given the full buffet option but had to pay full price we were told it was quiet at lunch so they didnt want to put everything out. Also there seemed to be some issue with the roof as buckets placed all over the place to catch water and tiles missing.
On holiday at the caravan park decided to try Sugar n Spice. We had a lovely meal in a nice setting. Lisa was our server, she's great. Made us feel very welcome and nothing a problem, even my 1 year old granddaughter who made a bit of a mess, she deserves a payrise!!!!! Would definitely go back next time we're in Saltcoats. Kirsty
Mix Peppers under another name. I went with my mother to Sugar n Spice the place was empty when we went in, the starter in the buffet bar was ok but after that it went downhill, the chicken tika was too salty the fried rice was basmati my mother did not like the lamb bhuna, the chocolate fudge cake is minging. won't be back the food wasn't too smart. not be back.
Put my fork in the gravy, big huge fuc**** hair couldn't believe my eyes, omgoh my god, want photographic evidence?, add me on snapchat: AndyPandy7, or instagram same name as before, i have posted the photo publicly on my instagram and i have 7 likes, so that means you have 7 less customers, i believe this will make your profits go from 5% to 2.5%, the hair was brown, i could see the texture on it after i licked the gravy off, the gravy was yum, the hair was not, i couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing i thought they were lying to me, i didn't trust them for a few moments, didn't know if i should believe my eyes or my tongue, my tongue tasted like gravy and a little fragment of hair at the time, my tongue has always been there for me since i was a little boy, so i guess ill need to trust my eyes ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° <- andy face, i have a mobile phone that has two cameras one on front two on back, if you need me to prove it add me on snapchat: AndyPandy7, anyway back to the story, once upon a time, there was a very long hair,brown,greasy and ohhhhhhhhh my god son, was smelly as F***, hahaLaughing at myself, people need to understand that I'm a business man and i cannot die, not because i make thousands of dollars a day, but because i am immortal, duh, come on don't you know who i am, read the name of the person who posted this review, could be alias for all you know,im god, no but seriously i am, i am god, that is why im immortal , that gravy and hair almost killed me, nearly chocked to death, was crying so much nearly drowned in my own tears, how is that possible you say?, well there was no gravity so the water wouldn't bloody fall from my eye lids so it went everywhere and it went back inside my eye and then down through my nose into the back on throat making me almost drown, so unless you give me $1.5 million dollars then i will be forced to unleash hell on your place of safety. It's a lovely quiet place to go and have a chatty dinner. There's not a great choice at the buffet but all the food tasted good for the price.
Sugar used to be amazing. Sadly recently has went downhill rapidly. Still vwry high prices for low quality food
hair in meal then called liar by whoever on fone avoid lost a very regular customer and givin one star in generous won't let me leave zero
Food is wrong gravy had nothing but oil in it disappointed is an understatement pluss waited 1hour 45 minutes
