Good experience, small enough to walk round, but different shops, small independent and large retailers, so plenty of choicenArchitecture befitting of Carlisle's heritage, and fits in well with the pedestrian area. A jewel in the heart of Carlisle.

Sky high rents = empty units and no footfall. Carlisle city centre is an embarrassment in how it's been managed. Take a look at York and other historical cities, absolutely bustling. Carlisle should be a hub for the borders, Instead people travel to Newcastle, Manchester instead for a better experience and some actual shops.
