I've been at the cafe and the shop. Excellent quality of the meat, that I keep going there only to re stock my freezer, as I use to buy several kilograms and freeze all of it. They are a bit slow at the coffee shop, so don't go in rush. Apart from that, everything is fab,including the take away food (super convenient)

No lamb available...sold out! Burger was a bit dry, but it was tasty. Beef was a bit fatty, but that also was tasty. Veg overcooked. Wish we'd had the 8oz sirloin.

Nice looking place out of the way, well laid out and clean.
The service wasn’t great with the waitress walking away from the welcome area as soon as we walked in and then didn’t return for 5 mins to seat us. We arrived at the same time as others who were served before us, small issue but not a great first impression nevertheless.
We had a club sandwich and fish and chips. The club sandwich was ok but had been made with the crust of the loaf which was unusual? And although the menu suggested the fish and chips were special with words like “catch of the day” and “Tatton beer batter” it was obviously bought in frozen. To be honest, it looked very similar to a Birds Eye frozen product.
Shame about the service and food as it’s a very nice and clean place but misses the mark by some margin.

Lovely venue, nice food (££) probably best for a sit down lunch rather than a quick bite while driving up m6!
