Visiting Knutsford with Boothroyd so popped into his favourite supermarket..Booths! Had the regular full English for £5. £2.60 for a coffee. £40 on odds and sods in the supermarket.Food: 5/5
Actually close at 3 when the website says 5 with last order at 4. Useless staff who don’t give a toss. Wouldn’t touch this place with a barge pole. 0 food hygiene.Food: 1/5
Great food, value for money, , lovely helpful staff.
What an absolute disgrace. Who ever is running this place should be ashamed. We waited 45 minutes for toast when I went to ask about it, the First Lady just walked off, a second lady offered up some inspiring words “ the front are probably waiting for us to do it in the back but we can’t they ave to do it round the front” and that was it! We were on a 1 hour break from work, so left without eating! We will not be back. Staff are obviously very unhappy, poorly trained and demotivated.
Looking a bit jaded...menus need replacing and tables need to cleared quicker.Food: 4/5
Concierge very friendly and accommodating, build good rapport with customers. Served by less-than-helpful lady who continually asked me to repeat my order and still got it wrong. Also, no bacon - wont replace with sausage only tomatoes or mushrooms Shame
Tables were not cleared even though it wasn't busy. Quick service as was quite, pleasant server. Tea was average and not flavoursom, coffee wasn't great. The jam and cream scone was delicious, freshly baked. Was an average supermarket cafe experience.
The quality of food is great for the price. The service - especially the queuing - is so slow. The cashiers also make the coffee and warm the toasties etc. So it takes forever to serve people getting the cheapest Booths Card coffee/ snack combination. The management could learn from Burger King or MacDonalds staff.
This is a nice cafe with a decent range of options. They have hot/cold food and a good selection of cakes. They have a very reasonable afternoon tea for 2 at £15 which is good value for all you get sandwiches, scones and a selection of mini cakes. And if you've got a Booths card you get £2.50 off the price! It can be quite busy but service is always quick and the staff are nice.
