Lovely spot, dog friendly and staff very kind. I had a jacket potato and my partner had scrambled eggs with beans and toasts all good. Coffee is also nice.

While they're happy to offer water to dogs, today I wasn't so lucky.  Today was an incredibly hot day and whilst on the verge of collapsing from heat exhaustion, I asked if they'd refill my water bottle with tap water. I was refused, and told to walk down to the Holywell cafe area where there's a water fountain.  Halfway to the Holywell Cafe I pretty much collapsed.  Given they are happy to offer water to dogs but refused me, well you can imagine how that comes across.  A little compassion goes a long way.

Stopped in here with friends at the start of a walk from Eastbourne to Newhaven.  Although a kiosk by name, it does have seating under cover and uncovered.  The lady who served me was polite and efficient as was the waitress who brought it to us.  The food was served very quickly and was as good as I could have hoped for.  I had a sausage and egg sandwich.  I went for white bread which was soft and fresh and I gobbled it down pretty quickly with my coffee.

Great cake and tea. Lovely location at the foot of Beachy Head. Dog friendly too which is always welcome.

Great place to eat after a long walk on the South Downs.Food: 5/5

Good coffee and cake. Nice place to stop coming off the South Downs.  Parking: Limited parking close by.  Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp from pavement to seating area.

Always a welcome sight at the end of a walk over the Downs.  Good for cold drinks, ice-cream and super light lunches.

Great friendly and helpful staff with good food great place to chill after a beautiful walk at beachhead dog friendly people
