A former regular haunt of mine. Greatnfo coffee, Clare, food, meeting friends. The coffee is always nice, recently tried the decaf which I found to be a very pleasant taste. It's a relaxed atmosphere with interesting paintings on the walls which are purchasable. The sofas, if.you can get them, are very comfortable.

Stiff competition locally in the Grove Road area of Eastbourne. This place is very friendly albeit a little bit tired decor wise. Ordering at the counter is straightforward and they bring whatever you choose to you promptly. A decent selection of coffees and tea served in a variation on a coffee a cafetiere. I would definitely have gone to 3.5/3.75 stars had that been an option. Cakes looked ok but I did not partake. They do an interesting variation on a bacon butty which seem to be popular with others. A group of young mums and extended families were visiting and it is obviously a friendly place to go. For that reason it is commended. Homely rather than slick is what I would call it overall.

Fantastic food and drinks and the staff are really nice. I have eaten here a lot and would highly recommend the food. I would have rated as 4 stars were it not for the toilet. There is a baby changing facility which is great, but the bathroom is very dark and quite grim looking. There are mould patches on the walls that could easily be sorted and the whole room could be cleand, brightened and painted with little expense or effort.

Fantastic lunch, dont be fooled by the name this is more than a mere coffee shop, and their range of foods usually cater for all dietry needs.

Nice coffee nice cakes they needs to be covered as left open. Toilets need cleaning painting and tidying up simple things that won’t cost the earth. The customer service is excellent. The most important thing coffee great.
