Having experienced lunch and dinner hours, there is nothing wrong to say about it. Waiting times for food are reasonable and never exceeded the "where is my food?" time. Meat temperatures are always spot on but garnish sometimes are cold or undercooked (garden peas). Not concerned about it as I am not a fan of them but been told by wife. Overall good experience again and definitely will be coming back as they are miles better than Harvester which they belong to the same main company.

Poor service. Arrived around 13.30, Asked how long the wait would be, informed 10minutes, sat down to look at menu, a customer came over to us to say that they had already been waiting an hour for their food and wanted to let us know as we had children. Bar staff were still saying 10minutes and a frantic waitress who huffed at me when I asked how long it would be bluntly told me over 40minutes. Poor communication between staff.

This used to be my local. Every time I go back it's different. They want to be current and do clean well. there are alot of pillars and walls so plenty of Nooks but it does compromise the atmosphere. If there is a big group of you it will be tricky. Nice for a few mates getting together. Food is ok but wouldn't go for anything special. Beer is average. Wish it would focus on being a nice drinkers pub again.

Great pub, great atmosphere! Bar staff were on the ball, food was served in good time plus the live music was an added bonus. We had a really good night here, will definitely visit more often - A* rating
