Really like cafe Rene for dinner. Cosy, staff are friendly and food is really good. It's a great place to take visiting friends for some history! I held off from 5/5 because I went last night and had a sirloin steak which I asked for medium rare and it came out medium well. My friend really enjoyed her dinner. Everthing else was great.

I had a chicken wrap which was delisious, the staff are friendly and service is fast, the decoration looks butiful inside and out I fully recommend visiting day or night.

Best pub in the city centre, hands down. Amazing food at a great price, live music, wonderful building and large outdoor area.

I've visited this pub every time I've been to Gloucester and it's always great. They always have a theme and sometimes they have the pub split into multiple themes. I ended my 30th birthday at Rene and they had Swampcandy performing who absolutely killed it. Thanks Rene for the good times!
