One of the best experiences I have had staying at a hotel in my life. Service amazing, food amazing, room amazing... EVERYTHING amazing. Can't wait to go back already!!

We booked this hotel over a year in advance and paid in full. We had booking confirmations and emails right up to a few days before our Son's wedding. Within that year, though, we fell out with our Son, so we decided to just use the rooms anyway, save travelling on day of wedding. Nice meal, a drink, then bed. However, on our arrival, we found that The Joiners had given our keys to the Groom, who had given them to someone else. So as much as we'd like to leave a review about food and rooms, we can't!! We had to return home, a round trip of 80 miles, then travel back, in horrendous weather, the next day. We gave this review 0 stars, but it wouldn't post without ticking one at least.

Dreadful pub that has ruined the village. Full of obnoxious idiots. Not a great advert for a lovely area

Quality food, friendly staff and beautiful setting and atmosphere inside. Stunningly decorated building. Prices are rather high, not really reflecting the pub food nature. Some serving sizes very small, particularly deserts and most notably the chocolate brownie, however, cannot fault the quality of the food as it was delicious.
