If there’s one place that you’re going to eat out in Alnwick, make it here! The food here is absolutely divine and the meat is cooked to perfection! The table we were seated at had an interactive menu that you could order from and it made it super easy to place orders without having to grab the attention of one of the staff! You can order both food and drinks from the menu! The place itself is really comfortable and cosy and definitely looks welcoming, along with the really cool story about the ‘dirty bottles’ it’s a quirky little place to come!

Food is always fantastic here! And the decor is lovely too. Never stayed in the rooms upstairs but they look amazing!! Well worth the travel if you don't live local!

Beautiful inn. Great food, massive portions. Rooms are done to a very high standard. In the centre of alnwick. So local to everything. Really nice would recommend to anyone

Quirky pub, seems to be fairly foody, but then it is a smoke house. Good food and burgers. They do a Sunday lunch which is also nice.

Went in for a drink at 17.30, and told we could only drink in the bar area. We grabbed a table in the back room there and were promptly booted out by the waitress and told that the table was needed immediately, but in the time that we were sat in the only spare bit of bar no-one was seated. Another couple were also seated on an uncomfortably small perch. Definitely not recommended if you just want a drink or a chance to decide if you might want to eat! Booked out at 5.30, seriously?! If you aren't willing serve just drinks don't let people stay. Rubbish service.
