Story

Nestled on the back streets of Kensal Rise, The Island has undergone a major
refurbishment and has been repositioned as a stylish pub/brasserie . The 60
cover 1st floor dining room focuses on seasonal local produce with its open
kitchen and undulating seating areas, and is set to become part of NW10’s
already thriving dining scene. A large front terrace will come into it’s own
during the summer with ale fresco dining & all day sun for up to 70 covers.
A small bar area on the ground floor, complimented with a lower ground seating
area will serve a range of cask ales, premium spirits, continental lagers and an
extensive wine list

Recently visited on a Sunday for a lunchtime roast. It was honestly one of the best roasts I have had in a long time, perfect portions and beautifully cooked. Lovely laid back atmosphere too and great service.
V good Tommy's however, questionable that I can get one in Soho for the same price, give or take a quid.
Very enjoyable lunch in relaxed surroundings. Lovely food and the staff couldn't have been more polite and helpful. A DEFINITE for a return visit. Many thanks The Island

Beautiful pub, super nice terrace, nice and helpful staff and great food and drinks. A bit pricey but worth it. It is my local pub and we enjoy all the time we spend there specially on the terrace on these sunny and hot days.
Great vibe, food and service. Had the steak - excellent value for money. Will be back!
aside from the whole silly rule in place from government about having to order a 'susubstantial meal' in order to allow you to have a drink the staff are all extremely curtious, attentive and polite. We had nachos and was a good size portion and well loaded with lots of yummy goodness
