We booked one of the function rooms for a small birthday meal. The service was impeccable. No request was too much trouble for the entire team who were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and we didn't wait long to be served. There were 12 of us so we tried quite a bit of the menu. Will go again and definitely recommend.
I had a brilliant birthday party at William IV for about 30 people overall. They were extremely responsive on email before the event whilst organising the party which was very reassuring. I had quite a few dietary requirements to cater for and the chefs did not seem to bat an eye and prepared an amazing vegan buffet that was a real hit with everything - all quite Italian and super delicious. The bar staff were also very friendly and attentive all evening and it was a very good evening. The whole experience definitely created some new loyal customers and I was very grateful to everyone involved. Can't recommend highly enough.
What a cool place to stay while in London and an excellent place to eat. Very traditional looking and well preserved pub with the requisite yummy fish and chips and beer but also more interesting culinary fare beautifully presented and delicious. The breakfasts are really above and beyond scrumptious and the service marvelous. I am really delighted we found this place.
Such an amazing place to stay, situated in a lovely area of London with lots of independent shops and great restaurants. Great value for money, really spacious room, comfy bed & clean. Everything you want for an enjoyable stay. Would love to return! Thank youRooms: 5/5
A great pub with both indoor and outdoor seating with heating. They play major sports events on the big screens. We went there for the World Cup football and managed to reserve two large tables. Great service from everyone in the pub. Drinks are a little on the expensive side. Haven’t had a chance to try the food but will visit again soon to give it a go. Would recommend and visit again.
One of my favourite corners of the world. I recently chose WIV to have a business lunch due to the space and privacy it offers, not to mention the great chefs who work there- the food is always 100% We were left in peace to work and yet somehow the waiter was always on hand when we needed anything. Thank you so much, Ill be seeing you again soon.
The food was absolutely horrendous, they didn’t even have cheese for the burger despite selling a cheeseburger to the kids. Prosecco -like bottle hugely overpriced too; service slow. Bathrooms terrible too. If it wasn’t a nice pub with a. Nice garden it would have gotten 1 star - such a disappointment from what it used to be!
Had a great dinner with my colleagues. Delicious food and very friendly and professional staff. Recommend with pleasure. there is a table with the longest sofa I ever seen
Ok place, nothing special. Our room was large, but pretty basic and badly in need of refurbishment. Pub was pleasant. Food was ok, but overpriced for what you got. Overall not really good value for money... but then again there's not much else in the immediate area.
We had a great time. The staff were very welcoming. The food was good and the drinks were perfect. Service exceptional. We felt well looked after. A goodevening out!Service: 5/5
