I've lived in Willesden my entire life and only recently visited McGoverns. I think the pandemic has encouraged us to go local more often. The drinks prices are pretty good, comfy seating and friendly staff and regulars. Toilets look like a showroom, look like they've recently been fitted out. Very clean.
Great pub, brilliant atmosphere and really good staff.
There's not many old-school pubs like this left anymore... Met some great locals :

A classic Irish pub with a friendly staff. Good prices and good vibe. Theyve got a nice garden in the back and they were playing Irish language TV while I was there. I'll definitely go back.
