Nice ambience. Quite pricey. Menu doesn't change much. I used to love the pies but think they aren't as good as they used to be. Other than this it is still worth a visit. Staff are very good.

Great food in lovely surroundings. The venue was very inviting with warming log fires on a damp and windy night. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the pace of service was spot on. Extensive drink and food menus should cater for most people’s tastes. This was my second visit and I’m sure I’ll be back again soon.

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere. We visited with our teenage children and their grandparents. Everyone was happy.😊

Excellent pub.Fine dining experience. Great service.Good selection of drinks. Regular update of menu with addition of more exotic items. Lovely relaxing decor with multiple open fires. Great for family. Pre-booking adviced to avoid disappointment as it gets busy, especially in the evening and weekend.

Looks good on the outside. We asked for a pot of tea for two people. We got two ring stained cups, very weak tea and a small jug of HOT milk. Not impressed at all
