A decent pub that's part of the Vintage Inn chain. The atmosphere and customer service in the pub is great. We rolled up on a very busy Saturday lunch time with two small children. Food was out within 20mins and was good, clean plates all round. Good range of beer and larger. Parking is more than adequate and free.

Called in for a quick drink. Was looking for a place with a beer garden as it was a sunny day. A good range of products on sale at the bar. Friendly staff. The car park is a bit awkward if it's busy, especially getting back on to the main road. The outside seating at the front is a little noisy as it's on a busy intersection and there is a high volume of traffic.

Took my daughter in for a meal and the service was realky very slow. We had our starters and were left waiting a fairly long time for the plates to be cleared and our main to come out. We still had our dirty starter plates when the mains came out. The mains were cold, I mentioned this too the lady serving us, she asked if we would like them reheated or would we like fresh meal so I requested fresh meals. After waiting again our mains came back out and it was tepid at best and it was not a fresh plate of food just reheated and I know this because I had taken a bite out a piece of veg and that piece of veg was still on the plate. We ate some of our main meal as we had waited so long and we were hungry and it was getting late. Would not recommend going here especially if you want to leave before the night is out.

Had a lovely pub meal. Food was tasty and hot. Service was OK, didn't have to wait long for the food to be served

A reasonably good pub in a nice location by the canal. I went there for an Easter lunch with family, and it was good for that - plenty of space and large tables. The roast meals are ok and there is plenty to eat. Check the roast duo dish for two people. The meat was ok and vegetables cooked well. Service was good. Check your vegetables when they arrive to make sure they are hot.
