It was quiet whilst we were there and I was perfectly fine with that.nThe staff were super friendly and attentive and the food was top notch. Started with the garlic and cheddar baked mushrooms, which were exquisite.nThen had fish and chips for the main, all cooked beautifully and the triple cooked chips really were delicious.nHighly recommended and I look forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Bandon Arms today. We have a child with complex allergies, and from the moment we arrived, the care and attention we received was exceptional.nnChef Rich personally came out to speak with us about allergies in detail, and Brian, who we understand to be the manager, also took the time to sit down with us. This immediately put us at ease and showed how seriously they take allergy safety. Nothing was too much trouble — they even created a personalised dish so our child could eat safely and comfortably.nnWhat really set this experience apart was the genuine empathy and kindness shown. Both Rich and Brian were fantastic with our children, taking the time to chat with them and making us feel completely supported rather than rushed or treated as an inconvenience.nnWe were extremely well taken care of, and it was one of the most reassuring dining experiences we’ve had as a family. I cannot recommend The Bandon Arms highly enough for anyone with allergies or intolerances — it may genuinely be the best pub restaurant we’ve been to in terms of how thoughtfully and seriously they prioritise it.
We recently had a family event at the Bandon Arms and couldn’t have asked for a better daytime event.nnThe staff were attentive to our needs and made us feel very welcome. After sitting down with the staff to discuss food options for the event, we decided to book the venue.nnThe room was segregated from the rest of the pub by the staff so we didn’t need to worry about strangers popping in.nnFood for party was great with a good selection for all palates both hot and cold and plenty of it and with continued great service by the team. Highly recommend
We had their weekend £30 for three courses meal each. Yes compared with others a bit pricey, but the service and food was outstanding. Particularly a blonde man, didnt get his name, took time to help me as my sight is poor. He was absolutely first class and an asset to the restaurant. We went Friday night 14/11/25. Would recommend the food.
Restaurant was clean and nice. But very few customers. Staff friendly. The 28 day aged steak was tasteless and tough. Had as recommended medium rare Tomato the only taste worth having. I’m happy to pay for good food. But £20 for this steak I will not have again. Menu has changed over recent years. I feel the menu is not suitable for this restaurant. I may return for a drink one day
