Went there the other Wednesday night on an impulse as we were in the area and my partners son was hungry. Lovely looking pub outside and in, well lit decent sized car park. It was quite quiet so found ourselves a tucked away table and placed our orders. There is a huge range of meals on offer to suit every person. We ordered a chicken burger meal for our boy and we ordered burgers too. We then sat for over an hour and a half waiting for food, when the food came the chicken burger was a beef burger and all the burgers were very well done whilst the chips were barely cooked, no crispness, barely brown in colour. By this point we'd had enough so didn't complain and just ate what we could. Our boy had a sundae ordered so we also ordered and when the puddings come they were lovely, nice portions and tasted amazing. Would visit again in the hope that something had gone wrong the first time in how long we waited.

Despite only having one member of staff on duty who was doing a stirling job of serving meals, working the bar and clearing tables everyone present seemed pleased with their service. However some meals were on the cool side of hot, like they could have been delivered a couple of minutes earlier. As the young man who was working so hard to provide a good service it seemed churlish to complain at the time. Otherwise an excellent meal.

I live close to most of these pubs in bridgnorth. In the summer nice to visit. Seem to be better with the food too. the pub location is a bit close to the main island !To Telford for me a bit quirky. A lot of traffic passes there. For this 4* but Worth a visit.

My husband an i went today sunday 22nd april 2018 we arrived at 4.30 had to go to bar to ask for staff to take order by 5pm first course took 30 mins to arrive an main meal was a further 30 mins, i had the cowboy burger, well it was cremated totally unedible the chips were dry an no salad or dressing an they have a cheek to charge £11 for this, my husband ordered ribs n chicken, he got 3 ribs the chicken portion was stone cold almost frozen in the middle i can safely safe we will not be returning as this must be the WORST meal we have ever had, we then the privilage of a £35 bill have had a better micro meal

We visit regularly but on this occasion the food fell well short of the normal high standard.
