Me and my friends used to have a drink here in the 80's. The new romantic music era were singer's wrote there own songs. This pub then was used by people who turned up in a Rolls Royce or an Austin Martin. Great pub, great selection of wine's and beers. Great place for meeting friends and family to have a meal or just a great night out.

This place is OK, nothing fancy and meals were good. Unfortunately the service was not the best. Asked for my child's meal to be sent to out with our starters (didn't arrive) still wasn't the first to be sent out when we had our mains (in fact it was second to last) they had to ask me what I ordered and then arrived quiet a few minutes after everyone else was eating. Same happened to th e desert, one didn't arrive and had to be asked for it. They were OK when dealing with allergy requirements and were very friendly. I would visit again but I would like my meal hotter but not sure if this can be asked for.

Had a lovely lunch today for mothers day, with my mum n sister. We shared a whole rotisserie chicken with 4 sides and there was plenty for the 3 of us. The meat was lovely and moist and we enjoyed everything. The staff were very helpful and attentive too

Very poor food returned my Fish and Chips back twice , Husband returned his no fish in it hardly, so they replaced it , 6 of us had fish and chips, Burnt batter and over cooked all of them , service not good had to ask for our drinks then Glass was Dirty and replaced , this is the second time on the trot I have had a bad meal so I won't be going again it use to be berry good but since they have changed it I don't know what's happend I think they need a new chef !!

Considering rotisserie chicken is now their speciality, I was incredibly disappointed as mine arrived dry as a bone and the skin so incredibly salty and bitter to the point of inedible. Nice pub and staff but the food cheapens the experience. We won't be returning.
