Food was fantastic , only thing I didn't like about this place was noone tells you that to get food or drink you need to order at a bar, we were sitting for a while until a lady with food walked past then we were like "can we please order and she was like "order by the bar"" otherwise it was good.
I would give zero star if possible. Definitely would not recommend. Food was slow and when it arrived, some were overcooked, baked beans had no sauce and some items were missing from certain meals. We ordered this sharing platter that had nachos and as you can see in the picture, IT WAS DISGUSTING!!! It is not even nachos. I would say it's just some sort of cut up pieces of pastry. When we went to complain, staff was ok in terms of agreeing to give us the missing items, however did not really apologise and we had to wait another half an hour for this. Definitely would not recommend anyone to come here. And not forgetting to mention that the kitchen staff definetly need a lot of improvement.
Came for lunch, we had a southern fried chicken wrap and some chicken strips, service and food where good.
Nice quiet pub with tentative staff. Well decorated with a country farm pub feel. Ample parking outside, situated on a main road which can get busy at times. Good variety of drinks. Food was good, served within a good time of ordering. Plenty of selection on the menu, chicken burger was somewhat Oily but worth making another visit to try something different from the menu.
Great atmosphere, food was good value for money and very accommodating. Service was good and took care of our little pooch along with my partners vegan requirements. Although they seemed a bit under staffed they managed well.
Had an excellent lunch today cheese and bacon burger with chips for my daughter and steak sandwich with sweet potato fries for myself. It was delicious cooked perfectly and served hot Although short staffed we didn't wait long to be served and they were very polite and friendly. We will be back very soon.
The quality of the cooked food here has dropped massively. I used to be a chef at a chain pub and its not hard to keep the quality up. The portion sizes varied on 2 of the same dishes we ordered. Half the menu was missing. I don't usually give a bad review but another previous visit to this pub it was the same seriously inconsistant portion sizes, over microwaved chicken, bacon so hard you could use it as a door wedge. The staff are very friendly here and they do a good pint and it's very tidy and clean.
Went with my dad we both had burgers. Would fully recommend, they cater for the whole family! Even have a gluten- free and vegan menu! Defo will be returning
Had a family meal here yesterday. Table of 19, very nice meal great service and nice atmosphere. I had the chicken pie, which was very tasty. I would recomend this pub, great food attentive staff and nice atmosphere. Thank you.
Ordered just chips and jacked potato, waited over 30 mins... My potato came ice cold inside even had ice cube like lump inside, sweet potato chips barely warm. No apologies from the male bar staff who brought food out at least got refunded. Worst place I have ever ate.
