Great meal in a very nice pub. Usual pub meals on offer. Really tasty Steak and Ale pie. Recommends the cremey garlic mushrooms for a starter and fudge cake for desert. There was a hair in the fudge cake but it was promptly changed. Staff were all very nice and welcoming too. Would recommend visiting. Cost is on the higher side for pub meals but worth the expense.

I was really disappointed this year, we went for mother's Day the portion sizes were pitiful, half of the starters were served barely Luke warm. I asked before serving what constitutes "all the trimmings" as it was described in the menu the server couldn't answer but listed a few vegetables, all that came was broccoli carrots and string beans. Never have I been so disappointed by somewhere that was great the year before

A really friendly atmosphere with welcoming staff. Lovely food,great variety at competitive prices.

Food, service and staff are first class. Can't recommend this place enough. We've had large anniversary meals, birthday celebrations and meals for 2 and every meal has been lovely.

We are regulars now, due to great food and service, and Real Ale kept well.
