This is the Gem of the Honor Oak Pub located next to the Brokley Rice bus stop. The pub is well decorated and it has a garden too which is perfect for sunny days if we are lucky to get them in London. The pub is kids friendly - kids menu included and kids stools accessible on request. They have a good selection of beer on draft and burgers too. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would suggest visiting this place in the evening time as they have a nice lighting set and interior atmosphere. A Take-away option is available. You can park on side roads within a walkable distance of the pub, which is great.
Brilliant outside area, live band on a Sunday. Indoor decor really cool. Had a Pork belly roast, the portion was very generous. Good selection of beers on tap.
Love this pub! It is such a unique quirky pub with lots of personality. The staff are always welcoming and always remember you. I love how diverse and accepting this pub is so whoever you are are what you are it’s a lovely safe haven. It has a real community vibe going on. I love how parents bring there children in and the staff make them welcome. The entertainment is great a varied so there’s something for everyone. It’s great to be able to sit on a comfy couch listen to some live music and have something to eat -food is also great and drink. An added bonus is that dogs are welcome! A little jewel of a pub in SE London

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, always greeted by smiling faces and the vibe is always on point. Really and cosy nice interior with great outdoor areas in the front and the back. Also can expect a fun event or two every month, including great pub quizzes!
Lovely local pub - super family friendly. Their Sunday roasts with live music are incredible especially the gravy, ask for extra! and their comedy nights are brilliant and super cheap. We love you HOP!
Ok where do I start 1. This is a cozy place a. Has outside seating with heating and nice green turf there’s both front and back garden b. Beautiful plant wall inside c. Nice layout overall d. Loft available for hire afaik 2. Continuously available set of drinks 3. Pub quiz night, open mic, bunch of stuff going on 4. Kitchen is working all the time till 9:30pm Why do I put 4 stars. The kitchen has become super simple, I stopped having chicken wings mainly because they became a bit of a mess. Menu choice is not the best, burgers only? Fries not included? I believe a place like this has much more potential, but who am I to judge
Visited for a sunday roast... both my boyfriend and I had the beef, which was very difficult to cut and extremely chewy - I couldn't eat the majority of mine. The veg was okay, but the gravy lacked depth. The yorkshire was the best part. Overall it felt like school dinner quality, but for £17, so we won't be back to eat. The pub itself is nice enough but the live music was so loud near the bar that the bar tender struggled to hear our order and missed part of it. However, the staff quickly got what we were missing so that was not an issue at all.
Had a great time when I went to this pub with my friend. Imo the bartender was super friendly and helpful. She recommended me the fries which were delicious and the wine selection was decent. It’s lively and has a great atmosphere.
We got married in a church nearby and hired the garden and dining area of The Honor Oak Pub for the reception in July. Wonderful Lebanese style salads and selection of grilled meats for all the guests, with a little outdoor drinks area. Very special memories, Thank you Eddie and Charlotte and all the team, from Natalie and James.
