Story

A contemporary Japanese cuisine offering a wide array of fresh sashimi, sushi roll sourcing all our fish from sustainable suppliers and fresh produce from local farms to serve the best quality ingredients available. Our plate are share designed for share and pair perfectly with our selections of wine, sake and Japanese whisky as well as our modern Japanese influence signature cocktails designed industry specialist “Nightjar Consultancy”.

I love coming here, the food and cocktails are always impeccable - although sushi rolls are getting more and more futuristic and I can’t believe you’ve taken crunchy salmon roll out of the menu - a few of my friends used to travel down to south London for it! Otherwise, it’s a great place, keep up the good work!Food: 5/5

I love this place, I will always be a customer. The only sad thing is that they changed their recipe for the sea-bass. It used to come with mash and truffle sauce and now it different.Food: 5/5
We've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Really glad we are able to come back, sit, relax and enjoy. Food is always on point and consistent. Staff is super friendly, warm and welcoming. Everyone works really hard and it's nice to watch the Chef's at work if you sit up front. Lovely sushi rolls, cocktails, saki and desserts. We will be back! 31/12/2021 - spent our New Years eve here and the food, staff were amazing as usual. Happy New Year to the team! 2022 & 2023 - never disappoints but we miss Gabriella : 02/2024 - never disappoints! Lots of new staff and the new host/manager we never caught his name but very warm and welcoming!
I’ve been to Yama Momo a few times and I would highly recommend the volcano roll. It is definitely the best thing on the menu . Everything else was also delicious but the volcano roll is what stands out. The lychee martini is a good go to cocktail as well. Food is good but I would say it’s pretty expensive.Food: 5/5

Excellent local Japanese restaurant.. We have been enjoying special events here the last couple of years, especially in July - my birthday and wedding anniversary month! Fresh and delicious sushi rolls, chased with a delectable array of cocktails! Perfect! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options across the menu. Kid-friendliness: Always see families in Yama Momo, which is a good sign.
