Lovely for a quick meal stop. Window food display are always attractive. Had a quick lunch today, the quiche was delish!Food: 4/5
Local not chain business - the main reason to visit. The coffe is okey, the cakes too. Unfortunately, everything is just average. A huge downside is that cakes and pastries are not labeled, there are no lists of ingredients and no price list. The staff are polite but uninterested. Non-dairy milk options available. Savory meals also sold. The saucer of my coffe cup was a bit dirty - that was very unpleasant.
Great little place to stop off for a treat, lovely coffee and the strawberry tart was delicious. Also had some quiche to take away and was also lovely.
Perfect Victoria sponge, with the best cream to jam ratio. Even pushed the boat out and took some sausage rolls to go. A hidden gem of Highgate! CheersFood: 5/5
They charge extortionate prices for basic things. I got a slice of red velvet cake which they got from Costco and charged £4.50. I decided to have it in store and the owner of the store told me to leave the store soon as it costs money for electricity. How rude of her to say that to a paying customer.Food: 3/5
Very Disappointing to their bakeries, both jam doughnut and mille feuille. The pastries are too below average, probably the worst Mille-feuille, tho looks nice from the window. Don’t recommend at all. p.s. the service is very average also, I don’t feel they’re friendly to customers.
Good selection of cakes and food and everything tasted nice but nothing special. Unfortunately nothing is labelled for price or description so you’re left having to ask the staff what everything is or just guess. Prices seemed quite steep although it is Highgate so maybe theirs is same as others ‍. Staff ok but not overly friendly or welcoming.
£32.05 for two pieces of quiche with some salad- an absolute ripoff. No prices on display. The food was adequate but not great. Please check cost before buying anything- or avoid and go to Gail’s opposite.Food: 1/5
A lovely cafe — and the only independent coffee shop in Highgate! Their homemade lasagnes and quiches are great, plus delicious sandwiches and cakes.Food: 5/5
Very poor service!!! They didn’t want to give me a tea spoon to stair up my coffee!!! Then they blamed us for using the auger from the table!!! Toilet isn’t clean at all especially for a place where food is the main thing!!! This business will go down if they don’t learn how to win every single customer!!! Especially in this area the rich people aren’t stupid!!! If you’re not excellent in what you’re doing you’ll fell behind as this business already has its competitors which are well established!!!
