"A fairy tale Candy Store for the child inside us all! Once upon a time in a dark corner of London, a shop like no other emerged from the fairy tales. A very different place from the ordinary became a timeless rabbit hole, to a world where children’s laughter and adults’ memories blend in an eternal dance of magic and taste. Allure yourself to taste a bit of magic and join the fairylands!Taste the most amazing desserts, created in front of your very eyes. Have a selfie with the sweet and good witch Emily or one of the other characters in fairy tale costumes. Truly a magical place and worth the visit. The atmosphere of the place is breathtaking and feels like you're in the fairy tail. The restaurant has a lot of intricate details everywhere you look and the bright vivid colours makes it pop. Ordered the Hans & Gretel Special which was mindbogglingly huge but it tasted absolutely delicious. The ice cream was really rich and sweet. Staff member was extremely friendly and service was quick. Highly recommend the visit if you're nearby.
It is definitely a heaven treat for children and probably not suitable for adults. Or certainly not for me. The ice cream were a bit icy and pretty much sugar all the way. The toppings were also sweet. It’s tasting sugar pretty much over here. Parents be careful of the sweetness all these. Overall, it is a cute shop and lots of insta photo opportunity.
Great choice of desserts. Gelato flavours are amazing. Staff are helpful and get the line moving as fast as possible. Pick & mix is a bit expensive. Needs some more seating
This place was okay. The interior was nicely decorated. We both agreed the coffee was very nice. However the Trdelník chimney cake was clearly microwaved. My friend who is Polish and familiar with this snack was confused as to why there wasn't any fresh cream available only icecream There are only 3 tables so you have to grab one if you are lucky enough to have space.
Maybe worth a visit if your at the market, we enjoyed our experience and ice-cream did taste ok. But misses 5 stars due to the sweets being super dry and hard, ice cream cones which look expensive were super hard, you'll certainly need rock teeth. Tip if you do buy the sweets pay £7.50 for the jar you can cram much more than the bag price at least you knowthe price. Spent about £25 on one sweet jar and 3 ice-creams so not completely terrible value for central London. My child certainly it and whilst I'm giving it 3 stars they could easily tweek a few things for 5 stars.
When we were in Camden Market, we were looking for a desert shop on a hot sunny day. We visited Hans & Gretel Ice cream. It was too crowded and we stood in a queue for 15-20 minutes. We ordered Hans & Gretel famous 'Cotton Fantasy Cone' each for both of us. They had many flavours of ice creams and cakes. Cotton candy floss was too big to manage while eating. It was delicious and sweet. Ambience is set in fairy tale concept. We couldnt find a seat to eat as it was heaviliy crowded. Tip: If you dont like eating heavy food , then Cotton Fantasy cone for a single person is too much to eat. However, it is sufficient for two people.
A sweet shop/ candy store on another level ! You can get ice cream with sweets on top and cotton candy wrapped around the middle. Or bubble waffles and miniature funnel cakes. The decorations are pretty wild too
I like design of the place. It does remind me my fantasies of sweet trees, when I was a kid. Stuff members are friendly. But I didn’t like their gelato I ordered strawberry and passion fruit ones. There was something wrong and odd in its taste. Maybe I just got used to gelato in my country.
Great little place for a sweet treat. Service was a little off as they seemed short staffed, but they tried to be friendly. My son 4-years loved it and I’m pretty sure he’d be happy to return!
Decent choice of ice-cream, Gelato flavours are amazing. Only 3 tablets are available, you need to grab them as soon as you find one available. Their signature ice-cream with cotton candy is heavy for a person, between 2 it can easily be managed. Helpful staff, when we told them about our allergy they guided us instantly
