Great Yorkshire pub. Had a couple of excellent sandwiches and pints after a 4 mile walk. Good service and excellent outside space.
Always lovely to visit the Hermit. We had the best table by the window too. Delicious food and friendly staff.
Only called for a drink on our way home. Wouldn't want to eat anything from this inn. Very dirty in the bar area the toilets dirty. Needs a good clean outside remove all weeds and spruce up the tables needs s lot of love. Great location
Food was good, we had the roasts which were fresh and good portions. Pudding was hit and miss, ice creams were very good, sticky toffee pudding was a frozen cake then microwaved which was burnt but they swapped it quickly for me. The dog food menu was a great touch and thoroughly enjoyed by our dogs!
It's always a pleasure. Great pub. Great location. We always enjoy our visits.
Lovely thick Yorkshire ham sandwich with fresh salad and coleslaw and a side of chips - lovely
