This amazing building has a real homely feel inside... Extended seating inside and out with covered smoking areas and large screen TVs throughout inc outside in the front seating area Stewart was a fantastic host and this pub is spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. Lunch time specials and full menu options available. The red lion is set in the beautiful village of Burley in warfdale surrounded by listed buildings and landscaped gardens a really tranquil place to rest up, have some food and enjoy the area.
Called yesterday for lunch. We were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to a quiet table. The atmosphere within the pub was excellent. My son and I had the sausages and mash with Yorkshire pud while my wife had the homemade lasagna. We were all impressed with the quality of the food. The staff couldn’t do enough for our adult autistic son, on paying found out that the landlord came from a village near our home. We will definitely be back
We went here for a friend's 50th Birthday. She had booked a private room. We were fed lovely food..... everything was lovely. Would definitely go there again..Food: 5/5
This is our third visit in three weeks for Sunday lunch, we have been to so many places locally and not been impressed. The value for money, amount you get and taste hits all three ,it’s always piping hot and tastes great, competent staff and always with a smile if you have not been here please give it a try you will not be disappointed
The Triple Stack Burger is a total win. The beef patty is super juicy, and the double bacon adds the perfect crunch. With all that melty cheese and sweet caramelized onions, every bite is packed with flavor. The burger sauce just seals the deal. It's a big, tasty burger that’s totally worth the price. Definitely grab one if you're hungry!

The service and hospitality at the Red Lion is 5 star is Stuart cooked our food today and it was bang on. Love our local for food it’s amazing definatley recommend Food: 5/5
First visit here, but won't be the last. The food was great, and the so were the staff. I left a bit disappointed as I was soooo full I couldn't fit a dessert in!
Fantastic and very welcoming.. also dog friendly situated in a lovely little village... staff? Are lovely thank you food ? Excellent
