With 2 members of staff not turning up for work.... the remaining 3 staff did a very good job on a very busy Saturday lunchtime when the weather was sunny. Our food was lovely and the sharing dessert was gorgeous. Well done guys.

Visited on mothers day and to say it was chaos was an under statement !! Manager was running around like a headless chicken and not really managing at all. Booked a table for 7.30pm and arrived at 7.25pm. Asked to wait as table not ready then watched manager give our table to customers who had booked in for 7.45pm. Finally sat down with no menus at 7.50pm had to go and find our own. From there on in I can only say the staff were absolutely fantastic. Even though rushed off their feet they were happy to help with any requests and were friendly and polite and professional at all times unlike their manager. Food was excellent and piping hot and thoroughly enjoyed by us all which is what deserves the hedgehog a 4 star review.

We called on the off chance and were soon shown to a table. Our waiter was Juan, a lovely young man . We wanted a bottle of prosecco and he recommended one for us. To eat we had beefburger (it was absolutely huge!) Which came with chips and onion relish. I had the salmon fishcake (small portion) which came with buttered potatoes and salad. All well presented hit and came quickly. Juan was lovely and we had a chat and found out it was only his second day working there. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. We will return

A massive thank you to all at the Hedgehog, we had our wedding reception and meal there on the 23rd September 2017 and also stayed in the rooms above. We could not have asked for a more perfect day, they were all so helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. Even in the run up the wedding Mark and James worked with us to help make our day perfect. The bedrooms have all just been refurbished to a super standard and had a very upmarket feel. The bar staff were excellent and could not have asked for more Thanks to all at the Hedgehog for making it such a memorable day James and Linda Fox

Always have an excellent meal here. Really good service. Nice atmosphere.
