A decent town pub which does some superb home cooked traditional pub grub at down to earth prices. The house real ale isn't to my taste but the Banks's was, and also sensibly priced. Not surprisingly on Friday night the pub was full. All eating before the band came on. The 'Beatles Sound' were a fantastic rendition of my favourite band that I actually saw live in 1963. We should have been paying to get in to this! Well done to the Pub team and the band!
What a gem! Visiting Lichfield and found The Feathers Inn, who allow parking of motorhomes overnight if you are buying a main meal and drinks. We chose Saturday night, and the live band The Mighty Boing were playing. We had a table booked for dinner at 7pm, usual pub grub, steak, burgers, pie, curry, lasagne etc. Good range of beers ans ciders on tap. Food was great and reasonable priced. The highlight was that at 9pm, when the band stayed, this place comes alive! Dancing, singing and great sound and light system. The landlord/lady have a winning recipe here and we can't wait to book again.
Suggested by Google maps. Becoming a fan of Litchfield, so here's my first Sunday meal review. Pork, turkey roast. Fresh vegetables and potatoes. Had coffee and cold drinks. Was worth the 40 minutes drive. A change front cooking at home.
Great pub really good food pleasant staff and fantastic entertainment, live bands on Saturday nights and open Mike nights Tuesday night, recommended for Great night out.
Fantastic pub, great food large, portions too! Spotless and great hosts. Highly recommended 10/10
Just visited this place an hour ago... I feel like Ive just come away from heaven, I had a Christmas dinner, complete perfection!!! Every single mouthful was like a melting moment.. service was 100 per cent.. Tracey is an old school landlady.. friendly, hardworking and very very attentive.. I live in Kings Heath but visiting my sister in Lichfield for a Christmas meal/drink.. can't wait to come back.. thank you so much
First time at the Feathers & not the last. We attended on a Sunday afternoon 7 people. Food was fantastic, Sunday roast dinner was delicious & nice to have other choices available. Homemade food & quantity was great. Staff fantastic, really friendly & nothing was too much trouble.
Great British Pub, surrounded by nostalgia everywhere with live bands on stage. Massive selection of draught drinks, friendly atmosphere. Would recomend!
I went for lunch here today with my Mom. A nicely laid out pub with a very friendly and personable barmaid. The food was plentiful and tasty and the music being played was in-keeping with the venue and nicely to my tastes. Definitely worth a visit if you like a down to earth pub.
A great friendly pub with fantastic live bands. Watched Finnegans Revival, they were amazing. Good parking too. A great night out
