Ok I was being treated to this meal which of course adds to the enjoyment but honestly the food here is excellent. We were 3 adults for lunch with 2 children and a huge double buggy. Service was attentive without being pushy and we were extremely comfortable. Really liked the menu with some interesting choices which made choosing difficult. Will definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu - even if I am paying for myself next time!

Although there was 3 bar staff working.  1 was busy.  The other 2 just span trays on their hands/fingers.  Ignoring us. 
Love the new lay out tho.

Lovely cozy pub with nice food and a private hire area upstairs where the Bluemark entertainment team have supplied DJ services. Staff were lovely many thanks to Rob for his support with connecting to the projector and Tom and other bar staff for making me feel welcome.

Good pub, fast friendly service, good selection of largers and ales, good food selection, can get busy but still a good place with excellent views of the town and common and a nice place to drink.
