Story

Hungry? Food served 12pm till 9pm everyday. From 12 till 3pm Monday to Friday is lunch club, only £7.50 for any pizza, salad or bread with a selected drink. All 12" pizza's are 241 on tuesdays. You can get 20% off selected food and drinks with our Slice loyalty card, available for free at the bar. Thirsty? All cocktails are 241 on Thursdays and don't forget about the slice card 20% saving! Our expert bartista lovingly serve only the finest Segafredo coffee all day from 10am. Whatever your reason for coming you will love what we have done with the George since our refurbishment in April 2011, we are the biggest and best in town so see you here next time you are in town!

I agree with everything written from my guardian Harrison. Although the ‘fat’ part was a bit mean. Diabetes should be shown more awareness and I do apologise on Harrison’s behalf for his ignorance. I would like the see the rule of people under 18 being ‘near’ alcohol. Even if that does exist what consitutes as ‘near’? 0.1m? 1m? 10m? 1km? Am I ‘near’ London if I live in New York? There was a woman across from us with her infant child, who was closer to her beer than I was to my guardians. I’m not saying the child should have been kicked out but if we live in a world with equality, why wasn’t he/she? I do expect some sort of response to me and my guardian justifying the behaviour of that certain individual.

The service we received was atrocious!! Myself, 3 friends and 2 of their children went here on a very quiet sunday afternoon for lunch. We went to the bar to order our food to be greeted by a very rude barman/waiter (tall, slim with very short hair) who looked like he did not want to be there and did not make us feel welcome. The food came out and 40 minutes after finishing our food our dirty plates were still on our table. We had to clear it ourself while this male barman/waiter walked around aimlessly doing very little as well as being on his mobile while walking around the seating area. The same thing happened after we had eaten our desserts but luckily these got cleared around 20 minutes after we had finished. We also realized that the plates on the table behind us were still there nearly an hour after the couple had left the venue! (Keeping note that there were probably only about 10 customers in the entire venue with what looked like 3 people working the bar) Most of the food was very good but we ordered a mac and cheese for my friend and her son but when the food came out, what was on his plate was just cooked pasta with melted cheese on top. No sauce and very dry!
