Best Pizza Express that I've been too. Food is amazing, always hot and perfectly cooked. Staff are polite and friendly. What more could you ask for? Don't forget to log in to the pizza express website, there is always a discount voucher to download.

Went around 3pm when there were hardly any customers. Service was very good as waitress was attentive and polite. I told her I had an O2 £5 mains voucher before i ordered. I ordered the bufalo mozzarella pizza and it was a real disappointment. There was hardly any cheese on it. It was basically very thin dough covered in tomatoes and tomato paste. I didn't bother complaining as I knew it was only costing me a fiver. When I got the bill I was charged more because they gave me the Romano base. It would've been nice if the waitress actually asked me what base I wanted instead just automatically choosing the more expensive one knowing that I had a £5 voucher. Unfortunately I won't be going back as I feel I was deceived in to paying more for a pizza when I only wanted to pay £5. I took a picture of the pizza but don't know how to insert it here to show you all! It was literally 5 tiny blobs of cheese. I have been eating at pizza express for over 15years and have never had such bad food. Such a shame. I guess they are trying to cut back on costs.

Disgusting and filthy restaurant. If I could upload some pictures of the unwashed water jug and pizza leftovers scattered on the floor I would. We got given a ‘clean’ plate and when we wiped it with a tissue, black came off! They also ran out of pudding I requested! Painfully slow service even though it was incredibly quiet.

Went on a monday for a quick dinner before heading home, the food was as expected, the service quick and the atmosphere was relaxed, parking anywhere in harpenden can be tricky and a slight walk was needed to get to the restaurant on a cold night. All in all standard pizza express dinner but always a go to meal as you know what to expect.
