The Half Moon, Sheet is an award winning Pub in Petersfield having won 'Pub of the Year' and 'Best Place to Eat in East Hampshire' in 2014.

The Half Moon, Sheet is also one of the largest Wedding venues in Petersjield, catering for up to 120 guests.

6 members of our extended family met at The Half Moon bar and restaurant today.  We were served by a very polite and pleasant gentleman. Our meal was delicious and dessert yummy.nThe Half Moon is located by Petersfield in Hampshire and is an easy venue to reach for  our group who lived within a 25-mile radius.nCertainly would recommend.

My friends and I came here for a Sunday roast after a walk nearby and loved it. They had very good portions and the prices were reasonable too. Would’ve loved the potatoes to be crispier and the side vegetables to be roasted instead of boiled, otherwise, everything was fine. And they also allowed our dog, which was definitely a plus

Very disappointed, booked for late Sunday lunch at 2.30, arrived and didn't seem to have our booking, taken into a large room, rather like a canteen. Loads of families. Couldn't hear ourselves speak, spoke to staff who then managed to find a table in the bar, ordered,  food took ages, one of our party of 3 's food arrived but had wait for the other 2 meals which took at least another 30 mins. First person had finished theirs. We had to ask for mint and horseradish sauce to go with the roast dinners ordered. Veggies were cold. Not atall impressed, would not return or recommend. The waitress was very sweet. They were busy and had a private wedding anniversary party but that does not excuse bad service, do not take bookings if you cannot serve your customers well

Visited for a Sunday lunch. Could only compare it to a school dinner from 1993!nYorkshire puddings were dry and as crispy as a hockey puck, beef was overcooked, dry and anemic and we were most taken back that the vegetables which were completely under seasoned, mushy and serviced on an American metallic prison style tray. It cost us £50 and I know that's the standard price for a Sunday lunch these days but this was way below standard! Do not visit this pub for food!

I was part of the Multiple Sclerosis Alton and Petersfield Christmas meal group , 31  ish   people in total.nExcellent service from the wait staff , delivering different meals to  us . We were chatting, so making themselves heard was a challenge. The main course was hot , vegetables perfectly cooked and plentiful.nWell done to the chefs , kitchen and wait staff. A lovely time was had by us all.
