Lovely looking pub. It was very busy but was so friendly and welcoming. I had a table that looked out over the back which was pretty. The service was good and the food was excellent will defiantly be going back again and again.

When out for a meal with my beloved wife Leane, we came upon a young boy named Joseph who was an angel. After a lovely meal, we were leaving but could not find our car. Joseph stayed behind after work to help me find our car. We would like to thank him for such help, without him we would never have got home.

Had the most delicious roast beef dinner....amazing service from a happy polite young man...bar staff happy and polite...highly recommend and can't wait to go back 😍😍😍😍😍

This is an attractive public house in a lively village. The staff were very attentive and did their best to cope with a very busy Sunday. The food was substandard. Although it was plentiful on the plate it was not tasty - soggy frozen vegetables and the whole dish very highly seasoned. I was part of a party and so could not complain without spoiling the atmosphere. Would not recommend to anyone wanting other than a drink.

Great beer and good food. Lovely place for a half way stop on your walk.
