My wife and I travelled from Carshalton to have lunch at the Grenadier. Very nice staff, great food and generally relaxed, happy atmosphere and a good time had by all. Thanks
Popped in for a bite and found it to be a solid “cheap and cheerful” option. The food was pretty average—nothing to rave about, but it does the job if you’re just after something quick and affordable. The location is convenient, and having parking available is a nice bonus if you’re lucky enough to grab a space.nOverall, not a bad pub—ideal if you’re on a budget and looking for straightforward, no-frills food.
Have not been to the Grenadier for a meal for a couple of years. And my wife and I were pleasantly surprised how good the food was. My wife had Scampi chips and peas and it came piping hot and all very fresh. I opted for the garlic chilli chicken which came with three dipping sauces, and very tasty it was. Staff were all very helpful and attentive and service was fast and efficient. All in all great food and great service at a very affordable price. Well done all at the Grenadier, we will definitely be coming again.
Edie is an absolute delight to be served by. Always a smiling face whenever I frequent the pub. She goes above and beyond to ensure the best customer service is supplied. Well Done Edie
We’ve visited this pub a few times over the last few weeks. It’s much, much better than I remember. Yesterday I was looked after by Edie, as a family have got to know her quite well and one of the main reasons that we visit. She is always polite and full of beans. All the staff are great but Edie goes above and beyond, what a legend.
