We were served by a lovely young lady called Maria. Perfect service so friendly & nothing was too much trouble. Food was great prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend & will definitely be back again!
Popped in to do some work as I was in the area. Good selection of beers on tap, rare to find Guinness for under £5! Ordered a very reasonably priced mixed grill and it arrived quickly and was very impressed by it. Decent vibe to the pub, busy for the day. Would definitely recommend and will be back!
Glad to hear Richard the old landlord has finally left. I worked under him for years. He was barely ever on shift. Unfortunately in his hands the pub went drastically down hill. Good luck to the new landlords, hopefully you can bring The Grenadier back to its former self.
This is not my regular pub, I visited recently for an 80th birthday party.nThe food was good, with a nice atmosphere. Service was also good, and there is parking available for those who aren't drinking and just want a family lunch. Looking at the menue there seems a lot to choose from.
My mum and her neighbour often eat in at the Grenadier. Having lived in Hove for many years.I called in with them for a meal as I normally do when I visit.nWe can't believe the lovely manager has gone. We all had such a laugh with him and enjoyed his wacky sense of humour. He was the best manager they've had there. The new manager isn't seen often in the pub. Not sure why that is. Also the atmosphere has changed and not for the better! it isn't so welcoming now. The food is still good but come back Rich you are missed
