Went for a big birthday meal and had 11 in our party. The waitress was very helpful throughout our evening and food was of a high standard. This is a great pub I’ve been visiting since a kid and just love the atmosphere of this place. They have one of the best Mac and Cheese I’ve ever had
Friendly staff and a beautiful Manor house. The vegan nut roast was pretty good, and they had a number of other vegan options. Various items from the menu were not available, and they did not have tomato juice, but overall a good experience. Would definitely recommend.
Not 100% staff fault due to layout but they could be likely staffed to allow them to walk in to see if people need anything IE coming 2-3 after handed meals if everything is okay? Aka basic food practisennHad to chase for several thingsnnTriple cooked chips are lovely but in the smaller portion sizes,nnKids meals looked more generous then adults to be honestnnI didn't have it but pie meal looks packetnnBratwurst looked not genuine or was expecting at least somengrill marks..No onions?nnOnly coke zero on tap, premium bottles for not having chemicalsnnNice garden area, kids will enjoynnIndoor looks like needs work, deep clean
Quite disappointed. Not enough choice on the menu. Steak sold out. No atmosphere. It was cold. It was half empty and took ages for the young boy to come for our drinks order. Greasy fish and chips. Loved the manor years ago. Its a shame.
Sadly not a great place to visit. Food choice limited, and to be asked if you want your change after a £120+ bill is not good.nnBuilding looks nice from the outside, but seating and tables in the restaurant hall area is tatty.nnItems not available from the menu. Even a Coke is over £4 a glass.nnOne of the most disappointing and expensive places I have had the misfortune to visit.nnWould never go there again. Even if it was free.nnThank you for the reply, at least.nI hope it does manage to improve at least, but just me contacting me, will not improve the place and service.nnI will not be returning, but I hope the place improves for others.nnAs I said, I would not be returning. Even if it was free. And In it’s self, that would influence the service.nnJust please fix it for the others. And I wish you all the best.
