Lovely service, good prices, friendly, decent but plain pub grub. Outdoor space and car park. 2 course Sunday lunch with 2 sparkling water for £23. Close to National Trust Kingston Lacy and offers food of similar style to NT. Decent portions.

Very friendly welcome for us and our two dogs. Good parking, outside space to sit in the sun. Went for breakfast which was lovely, wide choice and good coffee! Lunch and specials menu looked good too, will definitely be back.

We went for lunch as it was my wifes 50th Birthday and we needed somewhere who welcomes dogs! There were 5 adults, 1 baby and 3 dogs. We walked the dogs first and the landlady kindly reserved us a table. The dogs were quite excitable when we got there but the landlady was really chilled about it and welcomed us in. We all enjoyed the food and hospitality. I would recommend this pub.

On the Cask-Maeque Ale Trail & justify ably so. Well kept ales, amiable host and hostess. Has a very local pubbyness that more establishments should have. Didn't stay for lunch, but observing the vitals of those that were, it'll be a doer next visit. All locals should be like this.
