Disgusting waste of a surgery and receptionists might as well not even be there if they can't book appointments and only take notes. They completely dismiss people with disabilities, when someone with severe communication issues finally calls in to have his health sorted. Then gets told sorry can't help with that that can't book this can't pass message on l. Like hello you can't keep turning really sick people away to an automated service. My Gp told me to call yet can't get past receptionist. Should never turn away the vulnerable and thata exactly what they do... called Julia thr manager was assured me that it will be all sorted and that I can go in with multiple issues as I'm reclusive, made me Nd appointment go in today only to be told straight away by Dr that they only got 10 minutes and I best choose what diseases are troubling me the most and hurry up. I couldnt hold myself together and had to leave so disgusting way to treat people who have severe medical and mental health issues. This is after assurance fron the business manager. The Go said Julia should not be saying anything as appointment times are not down to her
My family agreed to swap our mum to the Green House Surgery after reading the good reviews. I have to say its the best thing we every did and have nothing but massive high praise for the staff and doctors for the help and support to help mum. All doctors surgery's should be modelled on the excellent set up of this surgery.
We moved into the area a few months ago and after reading lots of reviews for lots of GP's we went with The Green House Surgery and we are so glad we did. While my friends and family, who live in other areas, are complaining about their GP's receptionist being rude or not being able to get appointments I don't go through any of this! The receptionists are always polite and helpful including the lady who was on the reception this morning 13th June who helped me with a nurses appointment. All the nurses and doctors I've come in contact with have gone above and beyond, I cannot praise this surgery enough, thank you!
I have been with the Green House surgery since my teens. I had great doctors like Dr Whitehouse, Dr Davidson. Dr Barker, Dr Cowser, and Dr Jesus Gonzalez-Castro. All provided a top quality service. My only bad experience until this week was with a rude Diabetic nurse Sister Walker. After a recent visit to obtain a repeat antibiotics prescription issued initially by A&E, was not possible. What Transpired was that I was deregistered from the surgery back in 2018. No letter was ever sent, no reason given. My address has always remained the same, so there was no excuse. Totally disgusted by the poor communications. I am not a frequent visitor to the doctors, and when I asked why this occurred, I got no response. But I got a promise of a call to discuss the matter, which also never materialised. Now looking for another surgery.
I wanted to post a positive message about a receptionist at The Green House surgery who was on reception on the 3rd of March.. I was struggling with my mental health really badly this day and it became impossible for me to speak to anybody and when I approached the desk the receptionist who I believe to be called Tracey really went above and beyond to assist me. She wasn't judgemental or awkward and straight away became aware that I was too upset to speak and infront of a crowded waiting area was even more difficult I couldn't speak without crying to be fair and she immediately realised what was happening and offering me into a small room next to reception where I could privately explain what was happening and that day was heading in a very bad direction and I honestly felt like I couldn't get help by searching online and contacting afew other services I couldn't speak over the phone and when I did phone places alot of it was automated and I felt like I was getting no where and seriously needed someone to talk to before things got out of hand. Tracey provided me with the respect and privacy I needed and I honestly believe that day she may have helped save my life things where that bad but she did her job perfectly and now I'm on the road to recovery. So if this does happen to get back to you some how Tracey. Thank you so much for being understanding and listening and just doing your job perfectly! The green house surgery are lucky to have you and so I was I that day. Sorry if iv gone on to much and sound way to dramatic but I needed to say thank you some how and I'm going to try post on the NHS website somehow it's important you know just how greatful I am and how good you did that day. Thank you again.

Brilliant practice I have been with The Greenhouse seventy years, my parents x grandparents before me. The GP s nurses x staff and receptionists have always been very professional and kind. Happy New Year to you all
After a phone consultation with a GP yesterday I discovered my medical records were not up to date. I phoned today to talk to someone about correcting this. After being told hospitals snd other departments in the same building as the practice do not share information, they use different systems, I expressed shock as I was under the impression records are shared information for the good of our health. Well after this I could say nothing right, I tried to explain my shock and said I knew blame didn’t lie with the person I was talking to, but I’m afraid I found her really rude. She couldn’t understand my reaction and spoke to me as though I was attacking her personally told me very curtly “do not call me love’. Well I’m from South Yorkshire so I found this insulting. What’s more she didn’t want the date I had for my records of when the procedure was done, as she can’t possible believe me, but she will have to phone the department concerned so they can verify what I was saying. I think I’m in shock, left disbelieving what just happened.
I joined this practice in January, and to date I can only compliment the practice. Reception staff, Nurse practitioners, Doctors and Health Care assistants, have all been professional and caring. Only this week, I have had the need to attend twice, and saw Rebecca, who was very competent, and helpful. Today I saw Tracey who took time to listen to my problem, and was very professional and understanding. Two lovely members of staff. I also like the System-online Service that is provided, and the text messaging prompts. A great practice that I would have no hesitation to recommend. Thank you .
Worst GP I have ever dealt with.. never any appointments available unless you want to see Poppy the children clinician or Ben the paramedic.. impossible to see actual DR.. 2 weeks before any Dr's are available... never get any results from important test or they simply don't carry them out..misdiagnosis and hurried out the door.. oh and your phones cut off when trying to make appointments
