We booked as 2 couples via the previous owners, being told new owners would be taking over.
We arrived mid afternoon to a lovely welcome from Nina and Will the golden coloured dog (I am no dog expert lol) and a roaring fire. As it was cold outside this was wonderful. We had a nice chat with Nina before being shown to our rooms. She recommended where we could eat and off we went.
We found the beds very comfortable and cosy, nice pillows and sheets, two quilts (which were too hot for hubby) told him to throw one off.... The electric storage heaters did not go off during the night either, which could cause some issues for a peaceful nights sleep for those who like to sleep in cool rooms.
The whole place has so much character but also has small issues which Nina is aware of and will rectify as soon as she can. She cooks a fantastic breakfast and we would be sure to stay here again if we were in Hawes..... thank you Nina for your hospitality.  😉
