Had a lovely lunch today at Herriot's. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Delicious food (I'm still thinking about how good the side salad was) and interesting art work to enjoy. Convenient to find in the beautiful market town of Hawes. I would definitely recommend.

The proprietors, Glenn & Liz, were welcoming and friendly, offering plenty of advice to help guests get the most out of their stay in the beautiful Dales.  My room was clean, warm, and genuinely cosy.  The full Yorkshire breakfast is recommended before tackling a day outdoors.  Herriot's will be my first point of call when planning another trip to that part of the country.
