Great food and lovely staff. Went here for brunch and ordered the Full Greek. I was not disappointed; the food was flavoursome and filling. We ordered the salt cod meze to share, which I would highly recommend, and ordered a smoothie each. The banana, walnut and honey smoothie was very nice - sweet, but not too sweet. On top of the great food, the staff were very friendly and warm and the décor was chic but warm. I would definitely go here again!
Family friendly, warm staff, comfortable and laid back surroundings. Food was pricy but everything was very fresh and tasted great.
The environment is actually nice and the waitress was very kind but the food..... Well this was probably the worst Greek food I've ever had. The octopus was hard as hell, I couldn't even cut it! The mezze was absolutely unsatisfactory in terms of quantity and quality. Far overpriced. 13 for a ridiculously little mezze and another 13 for a single little bit of octopus served with a horrible sauce.... And the coffee... OMG! 43gbp total, just myself 12,5 service charge included . Never again!
Good food, with the usual London prices. Really attentive and knowledgeable staff. Food excellent with a chilled and relaxed atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
Delicious 'Full Greek' breakfast, lovely Greek coffee but sadly let down by the galaktoboureko, otherwise would have been 5 stars!
We thought as a Greek restaurant the menu would be traditional, however the dishes were very inventive with the food lovely and fresh! Our server was friendly and attentive, with a great knowledge of the dishes. They recommended one of their new prawn dishes, which was fab! We were able to see the energy of the chefs due to the open kitchen, and sat at the counter so we could really feel like we were in the midst of it all. Would definitely go back!
Tasty Greek gourmet-style food with traditional dishes that have an interesting ‘twist’ that makes them slightly different. Nice atmosphere. However, the portions are too small in relation to a usual Greek or British restaurant and the prices which are on the high side do not justify this. Also, the toilet should be avoided.. I’ve been twice and both times it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in over a day... not acceptable for such a restaurant i this area.
The restaurant looks nicely designed and some of the starters were ok. Unfortunately, almost everything is incredibly over-salted making some of the food almost inedible. The food was very expensive for what it was and the portions were miserly. The biggest problem though it the appalling service. It took hours to get our food, and we had to keep chasing the waiters to find out where our food and drinks were. The waiting staff came across as very arrogant, and they didn't even know the basics of waiting tables. Normally you clear plates away when people have finished eating and they are not left 30 minutes, and usually you are offered desserts or coffee after a meal, but none of this was forthcoming. Even something as basic as a Real Greek restaurant will offer you better value, food, and service. AVOID this place!
I went to the Greek Larder last night and was very impressed. The menu was fantastic. Very imaginative and well thought with a lot of game. I had Octopus to start and Veal for main but also tried some Venison. Brilliantly cooked. Staff were attentive, pleasant and not too pushy which is rare. The only downside was that I'm doing dry January and as such couldn't sample from what my Father said was an excellent wine list. I would highly recommend.
Very tasty meals, great selection of Greek wines and very attentive staff ;
