I've been to this place twice in recent weeks, and on both occasions it was an exceptional experience. It's a very unpretentious place, it always seems busy with a great atmosphere. I got very warm welcome from the owner who said if I didn't like my food he would swap it for something else. Well, he didn't need to because the kleftico was superb. On my second visit he remembered me and made me very welcome again. This time I had the stiffado which was fabulous, an amazing aroma of cinnamon and clove when it was placed in front of me. Both of these meals were accompanied by salad and bread, and the portion sizes were just right. On both visits I had baklava with ice cream for desert. With the bill you'll get a free shot and after that he offered me a brandy as well. By this time I'd got chatting to other customers, and the owner came round with a bottle of amaretto! Amazing. I don't think you'll find better value for such good food in London.
Such a local gem! Delicious traditional Greek food that is amazing value - great portion sizes too. Highly recommend the mixed souvlaki. Very caring staff too: took good care of my friend who wasn’t feeling well, and went above and beyond to do what they could to help. It’s busy and buzzing with tables close together: that adds to the atmosphere and presumably keeps prices down. Worth reserving in advance as it does seem to fill up most nights.
I’ve been a regular at Andy’s for quite some time now, and it never fails to impress. The food is simply amazing—every dish is bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious. The atmosphere is another reason I keep coming back. It’s cozy, warm, and inviting perfect for a relaxing meal or a night out with friends. The ambiance truly complements the exceptional dining experience. But what really sets this place apart is the service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely cares about making your visit special. I have to give a special shoutout to Petro, who always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome. His outstanding hospitality and warm welcome make you feel like part of the family every time you walk through the door. If you're looking for a place with fantastic food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Came here without a reservation and they managed to squeeze us in! The atmosphere was definitely busy and bustling with every seat in the restaurant taken. We shared a seafood mezze which was absolutely amazing, great value and had to take some home with us. Absolutely recommend for some beautiful Greek home cookingFood: 5/5
Very nice Greek food. I had a lamb leg which was very tasty. The meat was falling off the bone. Potatoes were delicious. But there was a problem with the whole dish. It was not hot enough. Not sure if they did not heat it up enough or they left it in the pass for too long. Had a few bites of the swordfish and it was nice but it was a bit overcooked and needed some more seasoning. Very good service. I'd go back.
This isn't a restaurant, this is a family. It's like pulling up at your best friend's house. 10/10 The food was fantastic. Service was great. The ouzo was divine! Already planning our return.
The food here is absolutely amazing, it’s all made fresh and seasoned to perfection. The staff were also amazing and were very knowledgeable about the food. The only improvement I would have to make is if the canned drinks were cold. But overall a fantastic meal and I would highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Came here for my brother’s birthday and it didn’t disappoint. It feels like amazing home cooked food, really good portions and a reasonable price. I’ve taken a star off because I expected more potatoes with my lamb but it was honestly perfect otherwise. All food comes with a delicious Greek salad. Service was quick and friendly and they made a fuss of my brother for his birthday. I would highly recommend.
I was in London and was recommended Andy's, what a great Greek restaurant, had a kleftiko and it was the best I've had, it came off the bone and melted in my mouth, £15.50, unbelievable value, then I had coffee and a desert, total including service abut £25! That aside the owner and staff were great, I will go up London again just for this, just wish it was my local, I'd be there every week.
The food here is very delicious especially the kelftiko and grilled haloumi. The rest is also delicious and I would definitely return to try other dishes. The only downside to this place is that although the service was friendly and attentive, we had to ask for things a few times for them to be done.Food: 5/5
