This is a great place IMO. Good food, great atmosphere, attentive staff. A nice hang out in the area with Wi-Fi. I also like that you can drink bottomless tea and coffee for less than two pounds. Great deal and I have returned multiple times while visiting. Highly suggest!
Good pub. The service was friendly, the staff are nice. The food usually turns up very nice, although today I got a cold full English. Which was replaced The pub seems a little rough on the edges, but least it had proper pub feel. Enjoyable.
Christmas burger menu in 2022 at spoons. Fast service, B tier burger. Luckily, we don't go to spoons for great food, but for cheap drinks and meals.
I suppose it's almost expected out at Woolwich, but the pub does have a very nice nautical thing going on both inside and out. The usual seating options available but with probably more high tables than anything else - except there is another room around the back. However, it does have that open spacious feel inside and the windows surrounding the pub makes you feel comfortable while enjoying the offers available. The place was reasonably busy when we were there but the staff were quite efficient and served us in a timely manner as well as keeping the place fairly clean and tidy. The Guinness was excellent as was the Doom Bar.
Gourmet 8oz sirloin steak With peas,tomato,mushroom, three onion rings and stake sauce,chips,Mediterranean salad.
It was one of the fastest serving ever. Fish and chips were good as always.
English breakfast... taste amazing. My daughtet loves it.
When I ordered my cocktail I didn’t realise it wasn’t going to come not a pitcher because the menu has changed I asked if I could pay extra for them to make it into a pitcher 3 workers all started talking at me for no reason when I only approached one person about it I know what I asked for was not difficult all they had to do was make me a new drink that I would pay for and then pour the old one into the jug to make it a pitcher. I was sat next to one of the managers friends and she didn’t like her food and all of them 3 workers again brought down heaven for her even though she insisted she didn’t need a refund etc you could tell the difference from how I was treated compared to the other customer as a manger you shouldn’t discriminate customers just because one is your friend very rude
My partner ordered food here and paid for it but it was never served. When asked about it they just said he had to order it again and therefore also pay for it again. Eventhough we showed it was also paid for. There was no other option as everyone already had their food.
I went for breakfast! Chef Mic doing a superb job! The waitresses were excellent working very hard! The lazy Coffee machine made me a horrible Moka, but the lady from the bar put it on rise mode and everything sorted!
