This is the 2nd time we have dropped in for a coffee since we had a lovely light brunch not so long ago. We were too hungry to think about leaving a review then, but the food was fresh, tasty and filled a gap.nToday was more a leisurely chat over a coffee. Lovely coffee, nice atmosphere with jazz as the background music.nGreat little coffee shop and small deli. They even had individual rabbit pies to buy. I'll be back later for one of those for my dinner :0nHighly recommend a coffee here x
Came in here during a windy day as we were desperate to find somewhere to eat. Though not my initial choice, the Halloumi Bagel was delicious, especially the sauce. Very cute overlooking the street, however they do have more seating round the back. Great atmosphere with the music and lovely selection of products to buy from in the deli section.
Strolling by on a wet day with the dog! Staff especially one lady was super friendly! Welcomed myself, boyfriend and spaniel in had hot drinks and stunning food within minutes! Coffee was lush and food was soo good. Especially loved the hog roast roll and cheesy leek pasty :
Atmosphere nice and good selection of local products. Good service. But terrible coffee and burnt tasting oat milk. Cappuccino scolding hot and not to my flavour and no foam, more like a latte in little cup. also took 15 mins with 3 staff and no other customers for 1 drink. Don't recommend for coffee.
We were really looking forward to lunch here after reading the great reviews, but….. it was weirdly unwelcoming, the food we wanted from the standard menu wasn’t available including soup of the day! What is it, soup once a month?. The very first impression was of dirty dusty surroundings and tatty paper menus that looked filthy. The man serving behind the counter was unfriendly. However our coffee was tasty - we then decamped and went to Mannings for lunch instead - delicious, friendly and clean!!
